![]() ![]() The lesser the ACTUAL hp of a monster is, the less damage cb will do. If you do mostly elemental damage and lower damage % skills, you want CB (and still DS). ![]() If you're doing mostly physical damage with higher damage % skills, you'll want DS more. CB would have to do 500 damage to be the same (And, again, if it's 1/16, that means that the monster needs to have 8000+ current HP). If you are using a 2x skill, then you'd be doing 5 if CB triggers. This means that CB would have to do at least 250 damage (If my 1/16 thing was correct, that means the monster needs to have 4000+ current HP). On a 1/2 skill, you're doing 250 damage and end up doing 500 damage if DS triggers. Let's say you do 500 damage (physical only) with your bow. On high damage skills on the other hand? Imagine doing 4x phys damage. On low damage skills, yeah, CB is probably better. Zons get like 3000 dex specifically to put their phys damage through the roof. I think it's 1/16 of current HP, while melee weapons are 1/8 of current HP (If I remember correctly).ĭon't say that CB is better than DS. ![]() I'm playing actually with no cb and ds at all, it's very playable, but i think it would be better if you had some cb or ds.ĬB is cut in half on bows, I think. if i had the choice of 50 max damage over 10% more damage dealt, i would choose what? yeah so too much ds only means having more than 100%. ds is never enough, in this case thorin is not right. ![]() and it affects every kind of bow-attack in the same way. anyway only massively hitting attacks will profit that much from cb.ĭs is also good and easyer to get than cb. problem is only, that there's nearly no source of crushing blow on items at all. if you have 50% chance of crushing blow, you already have reduced his life to 0,875^25 = 3%. when you watch a barrage ama shooting with 7 frames per attack and is standing near the target that means that she makes (don't know the real number, just guessing) ~50 hits in 1 second (maybe even more). Thorin said that cb was nerfed with 1.09 but thats not an arguement for not using this skill. ![]()
